We’ll do a little introspective digging to parse out what those moments might be for you, and how to use them more effectively in your story.
During this meeting of The Memoir Collective we'll be talking about stakes. In particular, what's at stake for you, the narrator, in your story? What do you stand to gain or lose? Why should the reader care about your experiences?
Soon, we'll arrive at the ending to 2021. In honor of this, we'll spend this meeting of The Memoir Collective talking about endings, in particular, how to write successful sentence, paragraph, chapter and story endings. We'll also talk about that ever-vexing problem: how to identify the ending of your memoir.
